The Following is a list of different window Manufacturers and their U-Factor. Windows with lower U-Factor are more ENERGY EFFICENT, thus cuts down on your heating bill.

U-factor

Defined by the rate of heat loss from a window
The lower the number the more energy efficient the window.
ENERGYSTAR recommends a u-factor of .35 or less.
Windows of .30 or less qualify for the new tax rebate in 2009, 2010
Sometime referred to as "u-value"
